- pinch salt, sea salt
- 3 Kaiser rolls, round, 4-inch diameter, 1.5-inch thick, slice horizontally
- ⅓ cup butter, salted, melted
- 2 cups cheese, cheddar-mozzarella mix, grated
- ½ tsp oregano, dried
- fresh parsley, chopped for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat your grill to indirect heat at around 400°F (200°C).
- Cut the top off the garlic bulb to expose the cloves. Drizzle the exposed cloves with olive oil and sprinkle with a pinch of salt.
- Wrap the garlic bulb tightly in aluminum foil and grill or roast for about 40 minutes until the garlic is soft and caramelized. Remove from grill and let it cool.
- Squeeze the cloves into a small bowl and mash with a fork until smooth. Mix the mashed garlic with the melted butter until well combined.
