Pan-Fried Basa Fish Fillets


Done in 20 minutes, these spicy pan-fried Basa fish fillets are a terrific, healthy weeknight fish dinner!


Step 1

Start by drying the Basa fillets thoroughly with a kitchen towel. This step will help prevent the fish from sticking to the pan.

Step 2

Add curry powder, turmeric, sea salt and coarse black pepper to a bowl and mix well.

Step 3

Sprinkle the spice mix on both sides of the fillets. Once finished, your basa fish fillets should be evenly and deliciously coated in masala.

Step 4

Fry 3 fillets in 2 tbsp of oil for 3-4 minutes; then, flip and cook for 3-4 minutes or until cooked through. Repeat the process with the remaining fillets, utilizing the leftover oil.
