Cucumber Raita  With Greek Yogurt

Learn how to make an easy Indian side dish called raita from scratch. It's vegetarian, low in calories and high in protein!

Ingredients

Step 1

Begin by preparing the raita ingredients; grate cucumber and finely chop fresh mint.

Step 2

Then, in a small (250 mL) mason jar, combine Greek yogurt, grated cucumber, garlic, salt, pepper and mint.

Step 3

Place the lid on the mason jar tightly, and shake (really well!) to incorporate the cucumber raita ingredients. 

Step 4

You may need to stir the raita with a spoon to fully mix the mint and spices. Place the finished cucumber raita in the fridge until you're ready to serve it.
