Vegan Chocolate Mug Cake

These easy no-bake protein peanut butter bars are made without protein powder and use hemp and rolled oats to create a healthy snack or dessert!

Ingredients

Step 1

Combine oat flour, chia seeds, cacao, coconut sugar and baking powder. A small whisk is ideal as it breaks down any lumps in the flour and cacao powder.

Step 2

Next, combine apple sauce, soy milk, melted coconut oil and vanilla extract in a ramekin.

Step 3

Add the wet mixture to the dry ingredients in your mug and whisk. Avoid over-mixing; use gentle, circular motions.

Step 4

Send the batter to cook in the microwave for about 2 minutes. The time will vary depending on your microwave's wattage. My microwave is 8KW.

Step 5

When your chocolate mug cake is done, safely remove it from the microwave and let it cool for a few minutes before digging in! Add optional toppings.
