Chicken Patties (Juicy & Moist!)

This recipe for chicken patties is high in protein, low carb and only takes 30 minutes to pull off. It has a simple ingredients list and is ideal as a healthy dinner option.

Step 1

First, add fresh cilantro (including the stems), onion, garlic cloves, ginger and chillies to a large food processor.

Step 2

Next, add the chicken breast fillets, dried oregano, black pepper, smoked paprika and salt.

Step 3

Then, using the pulse function on your food processor, blitz the ingredients. Be careful not to over-process.

Step 4

Once combined, using clean hands, transfer the minced mixture onto a large board or plate.

Step 5

Next, shape the ground chicken mixture into a circle and divide it into eight portions.

Step 6

Then, take each portion and shape it into a patty using your hands. There is no need for refrigeration!

Step 7

Heat half the oil over medium heat. Then, carefully place 4 chicken patties to the pan and cook for 2 minutes.

Step 8

Now it's time to turn them! Use a spatula to carefully flip the patties and cook for another minute.

Step 9

Then cover the pan and cook for 3 minutes on medium heat or until nice and golden.

Step 10

Flip them once more and cook for one last minute. Then, remove from the pan and let them rest on a plate for 5 minutes.

Step 11

Finally, repeat the cooking process with the remaining olive oil and uncooked chicken patties.
