Healthy Watermelon Strawberry Popsicles

Stay hydrated with these bright and cooling no-added sugar watermelon strawberry ice lollies. The perfect healthy treat for a hot Summer’s day. Its not only the kids who will devour these!

Ingredients
 

  • 2 cups watermelon, fresh
  • 2 cups strawberries, frozen
  • 1 cup orange Juice, 100% pure
  • 1 cup ice cubes

Equipment

  • blender

Instructions
 

  • add all ingredients to a blender and blend on high until a puree forms
  • Pour into ice lolly moulds and freeze until set, about 4 hours

Notes

  • Frozen fruit works best for this recipe and can be found in supermarkets all year round
  • The orange juice really brings freshness and zing to the popsicles so don't skip it
  • You could also fill an ice cube tray with the mixture and use them to add extra flavour to water or drinks
  • Get creative and experiment with different fruits, any berries would work really well and banana would give a delicious creamy texture
  • For a grown-up twist add some torn fresh basil leaves
