Ingredients
Put the oats into a high-speed blender along with water and vanilla extract. I use the Vitamix blender.
Then, blend on speed 8 for 25 seconds. Avoid over-blending, as this will result in a grainy consistency.
Line a bowl with cheesecloth (double-lined) or a nut milk bag. Strain the mixture and avoid squeezing to prevent a grainy taste.
Remove the pulp, wash the cloth and strain the milk once more for creamy oat milk. Store it in a clean bottle in the refrigerator.
