Taste and Health Unite: Embrace heart-healthy olive oil and the freshness of citrus as you drench your greens with this orange-balsamic-infused dressing.

Growing up, my kitchen was devoid of fancy condiments. I only started experimenting when I had the resources. But as life led me to my path as a dietitian, I began to truly appreciate the art of flavours. This homemade citrus dressing, with its mix of citrus, nutty richness, and tangy vinegar, is a humble tribute to that journey.

Nutrition Spotlight: The goodness you didn’t know was in your citrus dressing

  • Citrus Sensation: Orange juice not only adds a zesty punch but also boosts your daily dose of vitamin C.
  • Nutty Nourishment: Crunchy peanut butter brings a creamy texture and a touch of protein power to the dressing.
  • Balsamic Brilliance: The balsamic vinegar lends a rich, tangy depth and helps slow down the digestion of carbs in your meal. So, instead of a quick blood sugar spike, your body gets a steady and gentle stream of glucose into the bloodstream.
  • Olive Oil Elegance: A drizzle of heart healthy olive oil also adds a diabetes-friendly touch to your salads.
